<BUYER'S RECOMMENDATION>
The green of the pine tree, which represents the unchanging brilliance of life, is decorated with a diamond pattern, which was used as a substitute to protect against disasters and misfortune, giving it the meaning of warding off evil. This item creates a relaxing time by putting natural incense wood chips inside. It can be used in the living room or by the bedside. Miroku-Maitreya Bodhisattva, who is said to save the people of the world. We named this small jar Miroku with the wish to "save" people with the scent of this small jar and make them happy. Miroku is a new proposal that combines traditional Japanese incense with a small jar. It is available in five colors using the traditional technique of "terebin-tataki," which is rarely used these days, and has a delicate pattern created using a technique called Kinrande, which uses gold leaf. We have trapped the scent in a small world while making the most of the characteristics of Kinzan Kiln.

<BRAND RELEASE>

Kinzan kiln is a pottery manufacturer located in Takado-cho, Komatsu City, Ishikawa Prefecture, that specializes in overglaze painting of Kutani ware. Since the first generation Shosaku Yoshida opened here in 1906 (Meiji era 39), the kiln has been burning for about 110 years and has been producing pottery. Kutani ware, which developed as an official kiln for the Kaga domain in the 17th century, is characterized by its detailed and gorgeous painting, such as overglaze painting using five colors and gold brocade. During the Meiji period, it was widely exported overseas under the name "Japan Kutani", and its techniques and beauty of form have been highly praised around the world. Kinzan kiln has inherited the various techniques that Kutani has developed and is making use of them in its current pottery production. Kinzangama is particularly skilled in the technique of gold painting. Since the first generation, who was skilled in overglaze brocade, the company has been characterized by painting using gold. The third generation, Mito, has perfected the technique of "underglaze gold leaf" and has been recognized as a holder of the nationally designated important intangible cultural property (living national treasure). The fourth generation, Yukion Yoshida, continues to hone his skills while exploring new ways of expressing colored gold leaf that are in tune with the times.
